The Diocese of Ile-Oluji, in its quest to equip the youths with relevant skills in the digital age, organized a 1-day Artificial Intelligence (AI) training program held at the Cathedral Church of St. Peter, Ile-Oluji. The training, which took place on April 24, 2025, was facilitated by renowned AI expert, Dr. Kehinde Adenegan.

During the training, Dr. Adenegan introduced participants to various AI-powered phone applications that can be used for content creation, productivity, and communication

. Some of the applications highlighted include D-ID Studio, Viva Video, and Speech-to-Text. Participants were amazed by the possibilities offered by these apps and were eager to explore them further.

One of the highlights of the training was the hands-on session, where participants created their own videos and animations using the AI-powered apps. The facilitator provided guidance and support, ensuring that everyone had a seamless learning experience.

At the end of the training, Dr. Adenegan awarded certificates to the participants, in recognition of their successful completion of the program. The bishop of the diocese, Rt. Rev'd Abel Ajibodu Ph.D, and his wife, as well as the priest, were in attendance and actively participated in the training.

The training was well-received by participants, who praised the facilitator's expertise and the diocese's initiative in organizing the event.

"This training has been an eye-opener for me," said one of the participants. "I never knew that AI could be so accessible and user-friendly. I'm excited to explore these apps further and see how I can apply them in my daily life."

The Diocese of Ile-Oluji has demonstrated its commitment to empowering its members with relevant skills and knowledge in the digital age. This training is expected to be the first of many initiatives aimed at promoting digital literacy and innovation within the diocese.

In his closing remarks, Rt. Rev'd Abel Ajibodu expressed his gratitude to Dr. Adenegan for facilitating the training and to the participants for their active engagement.
